We’re testing a second hotfix (timing TBD) that corrects the blurry navball issue. The fixed update was pushed to Steam this morning. This was not intentional, and has been fixed - due to a configuration error on our end, we accidentally included Steam’s built-in DRM.
We discovered after yesterday’s hotfix that people were unable to launch the game outside of the Private Division launcher. Yesterday's v0.1.3.1 hotfix also contained a fix for a VAB bug in which fairing editor UI elements were drawing on top of one another. For the first time ever, we issued a hotfix to correct that issue yesterday morning. The most significant of these bugs relates to a loss of atmospheric drag (and physics in general) when capsules are decoupled. Sad, because the few parts that did work look fantastic, and I highly recommend it for anyone playing 1.6.1 or later.Lots of stuff to talk about today! As many of you know, a couple of new bugs were introduced with last week’s v0.1.3.0 patch. A few parts work fine but for the most part it's a flaming train wreck. When doing something like this, trying to use mods that aren't built for your version of the game, I strongly advise doing them one at a time to aid in troubleshooting.
The earliest version it supports appears to be 1.6.1, but maybe it won't crash and burn too catastrophically. Matter of fact, I'm gonna try restock myself. Try one or two or three at a time, make sure your game is stable, then slowly add one or two at a time from there. If you're playing the newer versions of the game, this Restock mod looks pretty nifty too. Then maybe the near future mods, or SDHI service module. For example you might try the stockalike station parts mod, check out what parts it has. And later, if you decide you might want to try an older version of the game, great.Įssentially don't try to do everything at once if you're only now getting into KSP, but take it one step at a time. My advice would be to take that list I linked as a starting point, find which of the mods are still going, and try them out in the ease and comfort of 1.11.1. The majority of them are still around and being updated for the latest version. I should also point out that you don't have to use 1.3.1 to enjoy many of these mods. And yes, I would be astonished if 1.11 mods worked in 1.3.1. There is no substitute for manually installing your mods.
